Black Hills Inspection Services considers itself Your Home Inspection Specialist, and therefore will always put your home inspection needs first! As such we promise to ensure your satisfaction with the services provided. Since most clients do not even meet their inspector until the inspection time, we provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee to alleviate any concern you may have in advance of the home inspection.
We are likely the only inspection firm in the area to stand behind our work in this manner.
Here are the terms of this guarantee:
The guarantee covers standard home inspections, not specialized services contracted for separately. The client must be present for the inspection. If the client is not satisfied with our work and ultimately determines the need to have the home re-inspected by a different firm, and expresses as much to us within four business days of our inspection (post-marked), we will refund 100% of the amount paid for the inspection. The client will return any deliverables provided, and release us from any further considerations, obligations, or liabilities, other than the refund. The refund will be triggered within 10 working days directly to the client, upon the client providing proof of the re-inspected property. This proof shall be in the form of an inspection report that covered the same inspection requirements as performed by BHIS. The report must have been rendered by a registered home-inspector who is S. Dakota licensed, and a member in good standing with InterNachi or ASHI (the two prominent professional associations that most inspectors are affiliated with). Meeting these terms, BHIS will make no comment on the quality of the provided report, or in any way base a refund caveat upon that report, other than that it was for like-services. The only exception for this guarantee is that BHIS will not refund to the client based on re-inspection work performed by a franchise-based inspection firm, as we do not deem all such Franchise-firms (at least in our area) to carry the high-standards that customer's deserve, and that the industry expects*.
